I came across this in a convenience store?at Dover Road on tuesday, i don’t know about you, but it sure brought back some yummy childhood memories.?3?different colored?wafers come in a pack?of?9, and?are made of coconut, tapioca flour, egg and sugar. These are the other childhood yummies i remember:

Xiao Ding Dang chocolate balls in a box with a toy, Grape and orange flavoured bubblegum (3 balls in a small box), Mamee, Super Ring, sour lemons, the pop crackly sweet.

THE Wedding of the year

i say that, coz i don’t think i’ll receive another invitation soon…But honestly, it was the wedding of the year, a beautiful union of two friends, Janice & Andrew. And i’ll say it again for the 4th, 5th time… CONGRATULATIONS!

This was my first church wedding i’ve attended (besides my cousins), so i was a bit lost with the proceedings, fortunately everything was mapped out on the program, which i must say girls?was beautifully done. And i admit, i nearly teared when i saw janice walking down the aisle… i’m a mush monster!

Before the wedding dinner, Penns and i decided to get our hair done at Caseys?with Edwin, who by the way does Wayne’s and my mum’s hair too. We then got dressed, and guess who out of the 3 of us was late… Vain Wayne! He had to choose the last minute to iron ONE crease out of his pants, punch ONE extra hole in his belt, and chose ONE tie just in case he looked too informal. We felt so bad for arriving late, as we were given the responsibility to usher people?in, so we made sure we did our job of ushering people into the foyer and ballroom! We felt even worse coz andrew included us in the thanks yous during his speech. So no guessing who got the firing for being late.

The wedding dinner was held at The Fullerton Hotel, 40 dressed tables, and 400 beautifully dressed guests. Loved the videos and speeches, and dessert was my favourite OhNi (Yam Paste with Ginko Nut). We adjorned to Post Bar upstairs for a drink with the bridal couple and guests, and i think it was at that time, sleep just caught up with me. I only had 4 hours sleep the night before, and the glass of Mohjito didn’t help either. I felt so bad for bailing, but i sure felt like i was about to sleep on the window?at Post Bar. And true enough…i was out like a lightbulb when i got home!

So the end off, in summart, this weekend, i not only celebrate the marraige of Janice & Andrew, but also, the liberation of the bosum buddies, the freeing of the?titties, the?relief of duties?of the Brassiere, for the first time in my life, i wore an outfit without a bra! SHock Horror!

McDonalds?finally brought back my favourite milkshakes into Singapore! But poo, only in selected stores None at kallang or east coast, in case you’re thinking of getting some.

We did find an outlet that sells it…Orchard Lido!?!?! Whheeeeeeeeeee…..to hell with my diet…. strawberry milkshakes!!?SUPERSIZE ME…RIGHT NOW!!!

No Men? Amen!

so i’m the last person to post something about the Ladies’ nite, because i was busy ammending and cutting down the 200+ photos i had.

It was janice’s hen’s night on saturday, and we all had an amazing time hopping from “lining-the-stomach” One Rochester to “Sabo” Suba. The night was planned beautifully by Joanne, with gifts, novelty accessories, poloroids and a book of dares. And i guess this picture just depicted the whole nights’ events…prior to this picture, i was laughing at the failed dare attempts by janice, but i spoke to soon. Right after this picture, she accomplished her task and i was Suba-ed Sabo-ed to have a nasty long gulp of bourbon! And you KNOW everyone had a good time, coz we were as plastered as the hen. It was a great time to spend some girlie time with Penns too, its different when i’m her brother’s gf, so spending time with her as a friend was wonderful. Random fact: she is the one who got me and wayne together, bless her!

It’s nights like this that make me want to go out more, but the awful truth is, i’d rather sleep early and go for a ride the next morning. And also coz i hate washing my hair at night!

Janice, i’m glad you enjoyed your hen’s night, and just because you’re going to?get married, doesn’t mean you can’t come out and get sloshed with us again!

In the MRT

Took this photograph in the MRT on thursday, the thinking bubble were placed above wayne, and i couldn’t resist snapping a photo.

So wayne is on leave till next week, and we’ve been spending a good 16hours with each other everyday. On thursday we ran some errands in town, lunch at wheelock, salivating in the apple store, got myself a dress, and a new casual outfit, wayne bought his mixer, had dinner at my place, loaded the car with Wayne’s decks which i borrowed while his room was?being renovated, and ended the day with “brokeback mountain” at GV grand.

So you’d think we get sick of each other after 3 days, nope! Spent the entire day yesterday together again. Lunch with benjie, loads of clothes alteration, tiny walk around town, his place to clean out his room, and set up his decks and final scratch, dinner at his, then back to mine.

You know what’s the beauty of this relationship, it’s just so much fun just being with him. Even if not a single word is spoken, i’d be content with his presence, and just one sunshine smile from him will make my day!

I just came back from Holland Village, and I?m bouncing off the walls, and only with one latte!?! Oh dear, the Java Queen’s tolerance level is at an all time low?

Met up with Jin aka Terrance aka Ejin at Breckos for a good ol chat, and it was lovely to see him after such a long time. We naturally just picked up from where we left off, and yakked till our car park coupons ran out. Days like this I feel like such a bad friend, I really should make more of an effort to meet up with Perth pals

Mummy says don’t play with your food!

I had another shoot on friday night for a Green Tea TVC, at Peach Blossoms Chinese Restaurant Marina Mandarin. Filming could only be done after hours, so basically it was an overnight shoot. There was real food on the table on set; steamed garoupa, brocolli, toufu, mushrooms and?carrots. Initially, for the first few takes, we’d eat ONE strand of mushroom or carrot, but by 3am, it was hard to pretend to EAT cold fish!?

Sleep deprived, we all started making food smilies inbetween takes, masterpieces i must say.

One of the talents reminded me so much of Andrew, and i couldn’t help but mention it to him. And surprise surprise, he was one year his senior in school! And yes he has been mistaken for andrew alot of times.

At our table, we have Kyra (a real sweetie), Wun Hsiung, Xavier, Edric and Myself.

Talking about TVCs, for the first time i caught a teeny tiny glimpse of the STB ad i did recently, it was shown on the big screen at Suntec, but DAMN the lights turned green and wayne had to drive off! I only saw 1 second of myself One day i’m just going to stand out there and wait! OMG, How exciting…can’t believe it!

Ubinised

Wayne, Joshua, Leon, Kelly and Me decided to head over to Pulau Ubin for a ride instead of our usual Bukit Timah. The Orangela, has been Ubinised! I must admit, it wasn’t as exhilarating, the interesting bits were, seeing a hornbill, the quarry, exploring new tracks, and a pile of wild boar poo. Poo you may ask? Well? I?ve never seen wild boar poo, and I sure wouldn?t like to meet the hairy beast it came out of!

RAOUL Fashion Show

So, i did this Fashion Show last week for the fashion labelRAOUL. Not as a model (obviously) but as a talent. They made me wear this bustier made out of ties and a long skirt, oh did i mention i had a sofa on my head?

It was suppose to be “artistic”, i just thought it was warped! I agreed to do it because Danli was working on that project, but that girl failed to inform me how ridiculous i was about to look. So i was grumpy for the 2 days.I was first instructed to wear the swan head piece, which was huge and uncomfortable, so i was glad they changed it to a sofa. Unlike what was written here by another talent, i wasn’t “bitchy” coz i didn’t get to wear the swan head!?! For those who know me, that’s so far fetch from my personality. Isn’t such a shitty feeling when someone totally misunderstands you, and PLUS blog about it to the whole world! Geez i’m not that shallow! Well i won’t make a big fuss about it, she probably presumed alot without even verifying.

Did i mention i was the biggest one there? All the models were stick skinny and gorgeous, i felt like a hippo! Loved the outfits, especially the work wear collection.

Amazing Race Asia

The Amazing Race has always been one of my favourite TV programmes, and today, they were advertising for participants for Amazing Race Asia! It would have been a great opportunity to travel and explore, but Wayne can’t take 40 days off work to run around asia… Damn rational thought!

Angela: No not upset…just a lil disheartened, but i totally understand :/

Wayne: I know babes, i would love to do it with you, coz i know we would make a really good team. Why not we work something our for the next race?

Angela: It’s ok, Life with you is always an adventure, and i don’t need a reality tv programme to tell me that.

Pinc updated!

PInc has been updated! Penns showed me pics of her U.S. trip the other day, and it looked like so much FUN! Never been to the states, i’ve always seen the USA as the big bad wolf, the so called super power of the world, and never really had the itch to travel there. It’s expensive, and i’ll get fat. Two good enough reasons not to go… but after seeing the photos… hmm… maybe it isn’t such a bad idea.

Are you being served?

While i was in Penang over the last weekend, me and my sister spent most of our time watching “Are you being served”, a 70s British Comedy which my dad just LOVES…so much so he bought the whole box set. My favourite of course by far is Mr Humphries, with his famous catchphrase “I’m FREE!”. And isn’t that jingle just so catchy, i added it to my playlist just for the fun of it.
