Do you remember?

March 30, 2006

I came across this in a convenience store?at Dover Road on tuesday, i don’t know about you, but it sure brought back some yummy childhood memories.?3?different colored?wafers come in a pack?of?9, and?are made of coconut, tapioca flour, egg and sugar. These are the other childhood yummies i remember:

Xiao Ding Dang chocolate balls in a box with a toy, Grape and orange flavoured bubblegum (3 balls in a small box), Mamee, Super Ring, sour lemons, the pop crackly sweet.

  5. Where did you get those wafers??!!!!
    I love them!
And yes, who can forget Doraemon chocolate balls. There was a toy in each, the reason why I bought them in the first place.
Mamee was something every kid our era had to know about! Did you eat Bee Bee?
Is SuperRing the ones in the purple packet? Messes up the fingers, everything turns orange but I swear it’s better than Cheezus. And yes, those frizzly pops. Ooh! Nerds! Remember? :D

  6. I can eat loads of those wafers, hate it when they stick to the side of ur mouth though, I still frequent run-down shops for these childhood treats whenever i get the chance to go back to s’pore, and old school confectionaries that sell biscuits u cant get anymore are the best!
