My 5 seconds of fame!

April 5, 2006

So finally i get to see the STB ad i shot end of last year, a whole 5 seconds of me… (out of 60 seconds) HAhahaha… I was casted as a young mother, together with Glenn, my pretend hubby! I wouldn’t mind a kid like Melia, she is such a pretty little girl.

Only shot i didn’t quite like was the spa shot, i look like a dead fish in the rain!

The prints were these two.

More updates later tonight, busy busy today.

  9. nads: so so, prefered others.

eun: not too sure, but he did mention having a gf, but i just can’t recall her name

janice: pretty? pretty weird to me…didn’t like that dress in the fountain shot. all country road stuff

yi-vern: yeah…that’s the same girl that drew me the bunny rabbit picture

drea, cas, pam: thanks, although i’d rather be casted for something younger hahaha not a young mother, but who cares… work is work

joanna: i know, but i guess they thought make up wld really make me older.

  13. Fabulous! Girl, you’ve had WAY more than 5 seconds of fame. ;) As far as I can tell you look lovely in these even if you have to sport clothes you don’t love. Anyway, you always look fabulous. I don’t know how I feel about the actual ads, though. I’m not feeling the text. Honestly, the Merlion isn’t what’s going to draw people to Singapore. And that second one makes me think of rainy season only with sun. :P Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about promoting Singapore tourism just feel like the print ads are way off the mark. I loved my time there and am a walking mouthpiece for your country. S’pore’s got a free promoter in Canada. Woohoo!

  16. cher:thanks…

eun: yeah its on their visitsingapore.com website, under ad campaign

janice: the skirt was huge and fluffy, i felt like a flamingo… and plus, who wears so many layers to sentosa!

adrienne: you’re right about the prints, i felt the same way, but then again, who am i to say anything, i’m just the talent. I think their tag line for the whole campaign was “beyond words” hmmmmmm… but there was one print which was alright, it was of a little boy, looking at an indian man flip roti prata, and the words said “i saw a grown man play with his food” so that was alright, the rest were a bit random.

joanne: yeah! she was so hyper that day… she kept splashing water at us, and running around the fountain.
