My second first date
April 19, 2006
So today i get a sms in the morning from wayne, asking me if i was free for dinner. And of course i’d jump at any opportunity to meet him, so tonight, dinner out. He picked me up at 8, and complained, “there’s a funny noise at the back of the car, like a clicking noise, don’t know why its making that noise”. And me being the blur blob i was, seriously thought something was wrong with the car. “Can you just open the back, and see what’s rattling at the back” he said. So i opened the boot…and then…
And then…. SURPLiceeeeeee.. there was a bouquet of sunflowers there for me. Such a little sneak my boyfriend.
We ate at Casa Roma along Bukit Timah road, recommended by my parents. Good food and affordable prices! After dinner, we headed to holland V for magazines and coffee. Wayne was “dating” me again, which was so romantic. A perfect evening, with a perfect man. I had such a great time on my second first date.
awww. *melts* Good for the two of yas! Dating someone you’ve been with for a while weeds out all the ’small talk’ requisites.

awww too cute! was there really a rattling in the back though?

cher: i think its important couples keep on dating, just for fun. I guess being in the comfort zone we take each other for granted sometimes…
Janice: A tiny bit, no idea what it was, probably just something a bit loose somewhere, or barang barang at the back.

Sooo romantic!!! I love the flowers.. Let me guess.. Petal Portal? I love that florist
Comment by Sisilia — April 19, 2006 @ 11:13 am
sisilia: not sure if its called petal portal. It’s from siglap centre…at a very affordable price! which i like… don’t like it when wayne spends too much money on flowers. they last a week max. I’d rather a weed from the garden if its going to cost a bomb.

Wayne and Penns: hehheehe I love the banter between you two. Must meet with both present
The last was at Cartel and Wayne was desparately trying to find a place for his bike.
Angie, he’s sweet lah. The two of you are so hilarious together! Hans thinks you are really funny. Especially when you roll your eyes but grinning beneath look
The ‘dating’ all over again is sweet. Hehe I also prefer Hans to spend less or not at all on flowers. Such a waste. He’s banned from buying for me flowers this year anyway.
So, what did Wayne do to prompt the romantic date out??
Hehehehehheh

Oh yes, btw, Hans and I love Casa Roma too. We chanced upon it when we were at Bikehaus. Pizzas are good! We had the mushroom and ham. Thin crust! It’s a cute little cafe. Remembered that we sat outside facing the road
I think I had the gnoucchi too.
