Black Angus & Arab Street

I had a fantastic Sunday, Wayne and i spent some good ol alone time, just him and me. Was helping out a friend with a photoshoot the whole day, so after sucking in my tummy for so long, it was time to let go by the time evening arrived. We headed down to Stuart Andersons Black Angus at Orchard Parade Hotel for some steak!

What we had for dinner:
TOP SIRLOIN
A lean, full-flavored top sirloin, hand-cut, char-grilled to order and brushed with seasoned steak butter.
SIDES
Steakhouse Fries
Garden Salad
Hot bread & Butter
After dinner, we headed over to Arab street for some grape shisha and coffee. Soon, the eye lids started feeling like lead, and we were ready to head home and nap for awhile before saying good night. It might sound boring to you here, but it was one of the best evenings i had. Lots of laughter and gazing into each others eyes.
That sounds like a good date! Anything with good food and just the company of someone special always does it for us girls I think, hehehhee.
Ive been wanting to try shisha but never get a chance to. Is it like smoking a cigarette, or just grape flavoured smoke?
And btw babe, me saw yr maccas commercial.. I love how yr eyebrows and eyes moved.. cute and so SQ! hahaha~ NICE.

michie: its flavoured tobacco, not like the cigerettes with high levels of nicotine. i dont THInk it does? You smoke it, and the grape lingers in ur mouth.
the maccers commercial.. yeah… was fun filming that one hahahaha
bernice: maybe its the lack of oxygen that makes you sleepy or light headed.
danli: i was telling wayne all about the times we had black angus. They are still using the same uniforms, same menu. But no set dinners…. too bad.. remember hot bread and chocolate sauce!!! and the potato and leek soup!? yums…

i haven’t been to black angus in ages!! steak PLUS fries sounds good. i get upset here, cos everytime i get fries with steak, they give me those fat chips, not shoestring fries. HmmP

Ren: I LOVE SHOESTRING FRIES! i dont like those fat potatoey ones. Thats why i love maccers… shoooeeestrrinnggggg… or potato gems…. yums

hi angela, i found out that there’s shisha here in sg from your blog. however, i couldn’t find any bar/cafe to smoke along arab street. what’s the name of the place that you went to? i was able to smoke in “samar” - in kampong glam though. $14 a pop.
