Mother of all IKEAS
February 26, 2007
A few weeks ago, Wayne and i took a trip to (what felt like malaysia) the new IKEA at Tampines. It IS pretty far if you’re coming from the west sieeeedd! (i think only jake fans get that) hyuk hyuk

It’s
MASSIVE
!! It’s alot bigger than the one at Alexandrea Rd, plus, parking is free.

I was there on a mission, a mission to purchase JUST a corkboard and a potted plant. But oh… the temptations…. you walk through the room displays and you wish your room was as swank as that. Was close to buying a cookie jar i didn’t need.

dru: which dru is this? my Dru? or stranger Dru.
ginA: sad right…. i love kitchen goods.

did someone say “free parking”?!?!
man, ikea is my one of my biggest weaknesses. i always go to ikea intending to buy only the things i planned to get but then emerge from the flat-packed cost-reduced unecessary-thinggamabobs jungle with 2 dozen things i never intended to get.
it’s awesome…. =D

michelle: so many fun things to buy, i love the kids section. My kid’s room will be just like that.
averil: If you religiously read through the catalogue (which i do, its good toilet reading material), you go over to someone’s house, and you immediately know where they got it from.. IKEA!
