  14. anti-america feeling seemed to be a growing trend. was in starbucks the other day pretending to read but actually earsdropping on other peoples conversation (bad bad but fun fun) and this poor guy was trying to justify why he love america and clearly he was having a tough time responding to some rather violent views from his mates. and i was thinking …. hmmm ! all these in starbucks !!! (so much for hating those americans aye ??)

  16. To tell you the truth, when I did my undergraduate in Australia, I was on an educational project to one of the suburb in NSW. They don’t even know where is Singapore. They thought it is some country, that China rules over us. Sadly, that is the reality of the world and they also don’t even know that their sons were sent to Iraq, to them, their son go for a good cost to fight for world peace.

  17. iwantatibike: i don’t know what the world is becoming into… just so much hatred, spite, and revenge.

ginA: yeah that one was a BIT off wasn’t it.

Hazzie: i got that too…. when i mentioned singapore they said “is that in china or something” HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

    Comment by Angela — March 5, 2007 @ 9:50 am

  18. hazzie: i thought that only happens when you mention abt Malaysia? and the only easy explanation is “it’s between singapore and thailand….”. But luckily the Aussies’ knowledge of Malaysia isn’t all that bad.. at least they recognize the recalcitrant ex PM of that country …

  24. Muahahahahhaha! Dumbass Americans. This is totally believable as I had a similar experience myself. They’re totally engrossed with all things American that they’ve become unbelievably ignorant about the rest of the world. My fav,

Name a country that begins with U. “Utopia”. Hahahahahahaha!
