Buckaroos

i had such an eventful weekend, it feels like i’ve been on the go since work ended on friday evening! After work, Wayne picked me up and we headed faaaar north to Buckaroo BBQ & Grill. It’s a quite a distance to drive, but the food was well worth it. Buckaroos was converted from a private house into a roadhouse restaurant. It’s quite out of the way, so i suggest you drive there instead of trying to find your way by public transport.
Wayne ordered a Sirloin steak + stella beer, i ordered fish & chips + strawberry magarita, and it only came up to 60bucks. I thought that was pretty good value, for the American portion size we were served.
Although the car ride was long, it didn’t matter… we were singing, dancing, bopping our heads, it was just great being out with my best friend! Simple itinery but still mountains of fun!

Janice: Yea! sounds gooood! It’s a very casual atmosphere, a bit out of the way thats all.
Penns: HAHhahah because you and the leprechauns were out painting the town green! MUAHahahhA

Ate there once with a good pal.
Have you notice how similar the food were at Buckeroos to Jerry’s BBQ? Especially the buffalo wings!
I heard that the owner of Buckeroo was the former boss of Jerry’s. Wonder if it’s true…

That’s Terence’s and my favourite date place. We love going there for the prime rib and the atmosphere.

Jerry’s at Club Street, Jln Kayu (Main Branch) & Tanglin Shopping Centre.
They are famous for their fish&chips, blood-vessels-clogging deep fried mushrooms…Hahaha!!!, ribs & of cos buffalo wings!!!

Oops.. sorry for late response. I’ve been away. Yup, not sure if Wayne still remembers me, but its always nice to see an old friend (be it in pictures or magazines or anywhere). I used to study in SP together with Wayne and not sure if he still hangs out with Leon and the others. Ask if he remembers Jonathan Lien.

hi angela. just a random surfer (: was wondering if buckeroos has a band. am looking for somewhere to celebrate my birthday, and i want none of the fancy-schmaltzy restaurants. looking for somewhere with a great cozy ambiance where close friends can just sit and chill. does buckeroos fit the bill?
