I See Fragged People!

Next acitivity of the weekend, was PAINTBALL! Apparently there are a couple of places in Singapore you can try this sport, Tag Paintball at Orchid Country Club and Crossfire at the Singapore Discovery Centre. We went to the latter.
I thought they were going to provide overalls, so i rocked up in a tank top and berms. Luckily Wayne brought a long sleeve shirt for me to wear, but then again, it didn’t do much good. But i LOOKED the part?! “Fwah So GAranG!”
The most important part of the day for them, the indemnity forms, they were quick to get that signed off before we were briefed on the Dos and the Don’ts.
When it was time to split the group into two teams, i insisted that Wayne should not be on mine. It makes it more interesting! i already KNOW we would make a good team, so lets spice things up a bit. After getting into the arena, you’re allowed a minute to recce the site, before you are geared up and armed.
Of all gun models out there, they armed us with THE weapon of choice…Carbine BAYYBBeeee. In counter stike, that was my favourite weapon, plus i excelled at it (HEADSHOT!) So i was determined to do just as well in paintball.
Scenarios
Burst the Balloon x2 rounds
Flags x2 rounds
Elimination x2 rounds
I reckon i did ok, because Wayne got ZERO shots of me, and i hit him twice on the chest. “Hurts right? Hurts right?! That’s how it will feel if i break your heart, just ten times worse! Muahahhaha”. 
In all honesty, it isn’t that painful. You will bruise, yes, but what’s a bruise?! It goes away!…..eventually….. who cares, its worth it!

I used to suck so much at laser quest that I worry about paintballing! But wouldn’t mind trying it out one day.. Ack! Looked like fun babe!!

for my friend’s birthday he had a paintball fest in his forest and i’ve never had so much fun in my life, especially when it was girls vs boys. 2 girls ended up hiding in the outdoor loo. Was hilarious, much more fun than NS!

i had a huuuuge bruise from skirmish [thats what i call it ;p] few years back but the pain fades the moment you remember those stains of paint from your shot on your friends.. hehehe.
oh! good news! btw you can resize photos on iPhoto. click on the pic, and export. a little window will open asking if you want it resized or edited. i usually duplicate the particular pic i want edited and crop it first before resizing. much easier that way. and the beautiful part of it all? it saves as a separate file on the location of your choice. altho you’re stuck with 3 pics now [original, edited+duplicated & exported final tadaaaa version], you can always choose which one you want deleted and which one you wanna keep

Janice: John said to do a team paintball session. i told him there will only be 3 players… me, you and him. i doubt anyone else would want to…ahahahahh…. next time we go again, i’ll call you ok!!! you have to trryyyy…. i reckon you have an advantage… you’re smaller, less surface area to target, and alot more agile.
ian: that is such a wonderful idea!!!!!!!!! wow really sounds like fun!!! did he rent the guns and buy the bullets??
kristin: yeah that’s the thing i don’t like about iphoto. i don’t need 3 copies on my comp, its such a waste of space….

Hehhee I went there too! My first paintball sesh last year. That playground is quite fun. Kept wasting the magazines though. I had a bruise on my shin and it was friggin painful

Drea: they gave the girls the bigger guns with the bigger pallettes muahahahahhaha. i should share the size comparison …. next post

I ran all over the damn place shooting ppl and stuff. I went all out to look for Angela and there she was hiding all the time! Plus she had a bigger gun and to make matters worse, i got shot… a few times somemore, by her! Camper!!! Camper!!! Angela the Camper!!! Grrrrr…

i went for laserquest with my family some time back. everyone got their ass kicked by my mum. (didn’t know she was *that* good till we went for some firearm shooting in thailand few mths later and she friggin shot all the cans under the bullseye OMG) paintball is grouse - went with a bunch of mates in victoria to this place which had goodness knows how many acres of land. was given this chest protector thingy to protect my vital assets hahahahahha give me paintball over laserquest anyday yarrr!

Pris: yeah id rather paintball too….because there is an element of fear… fear of the pain, so it makes it alot scarier!!

the forest was on his estate and they run a paintballing place there, so guns and ammo all provided whenever they want. I really want to go again!
