I don’t think simulators have wild boars rushing out of the vegetation at you!
Yikes, you and Max certainly take the cake! I’ve had a couple of boars startle me on a downhill at Joseph D. Grant Park but was never in danger of being bowled over by them (it was more like me hitting them). I got back at them by hollering and chasing after them though. Those critters can move pretty fast for their bulk! Ah, harassing wildlife… Good times!
woah..maybe i should try mountainbiking myself. and if i m lucky, i can bag a hot biker chick as well.
erm..having said that, is priscilla supposed to be hot?
angela: used to be biker for a brief period of time cos of now ex boyfriend =) but i’m first and foremost a rider (horses) and had my fair share of falls… unfortunately for all the reading up on how to tuck and roll, my first fall was more of a *splat* resulting in temp memory loss + a hip that still aches in winter. a simulator can never replicate the wind in your face, the mud, the g force and the exhiliration.
waynep: i dunno why but your boar experience sorta reminds me of Asterix and Obelix hehehehe
ben: my friends and i were driving up a mountain at night and a wombat came galloping towards us. (i kid u not) we had no choice but to run it over as it was frosty and the car didn’t have abs. so sad it died and its wombat friend came up from the bushes to see what happened. it cost us AUD$360 to fix the damage to the undercarriage caused by rampaging wombat.
weiliang: my boyfriend definitely thinks i’m hot =)
EH! never take photo of the boar ah! Daymnnnn… I bumped into Max and Ling @ a friend’s birthday on friesday. Was nice seeing max after soo longgg.. he still got that cheeky grin… hahahah.
