Sneaky Sound System

Definately one of the best things that has come out of Australia aside from Penfolds, Kylie and Tim Tams. Wayne and i were vegging in front of the TV, watching the awesome performances on Live Earth and this group got us jumping out of the bed, and on to google to find out more.

Its interesting having this 24hrs concert but i just can’t keep up. I like the commercial that comes with it.

I was in a fairly non-descript restaurant in Sydney about 2 months ago and one of my friends suddenly sprung to attention because one of the guys and the girl from Sneaky sat down at the table next to us. Not being fans, the rest of us had no idea who they were, but my mate (who never really mastered subtley) started going “Oh man, that’s um, Oh you KNOW!!!! um… you know that band… with the two guys and the chick… uhhh, they’re really big right now!!! Oh, it’s killing me!”.
This went on for quite some time as he struggled with his mental block. We kept telling him to exercise a bit of discretion but he suffers from volume-control syndrome and wouldn’t shut up. Abotu 5 minutes later he got up to go to the toilet and they moved tables out of our view lol Embarrassing!

toni collette and her band were not too bad themselves, although it was a bit strange having to sit through her rocker-esque antics!
missy higgins was faaantastic too - loved when she performed with paul kelly and john butler!!
