QF72

April 28th, 2008

I couldn’t blog yesterday because I didn’t have internet connection. Yesterday morning, I was on a flight to Perth Australia. Since I was at Changi early, I decided to take the sky train over to T3.

Don’t know what the hoo ha is about, its just…new…new design… new fixtures, but nothing out of this world.

I met Wayne at Yakun for some kaya toast and egg. Hmmm….

QF72 bound for Perth, Australia.
I don’t usually go trigger happy on a flight, but today, the view was just ab-so-lutely amazing. Here’s a couple of my favorite shots from the air.

Indonesian islands. I loved how the couds and islands were all lined up.

Just out of Singapore

fluffy clouds, was just waiting for a care bear to pop out.

The yellow part in the picture is actually sand.

I flew on a Boeing 747-338. Don’t usually notice these sort of things, but the Rolls Royce engines are REALLY quite quiet!

kuen: yeah i hate that too, but i really enjoy the views. If its a night flight, then i’d opt for an aisle seat.

Janice: HAHahah not intentional lah… RR not even our client. It’s around 21degrees in the day, hot in the sun, and a cool 13 at night.

Is not the 747-338 is quite. Its because you are seating infront of the engines (business or first class) that is why is less noise than economy class.

i was in economy actually, but you were right i was in front of the engine.. is there really a difference? hmmm will go research.

Yeah, should be a difference. Sitting in front of the engine you will only hear air being sucked into the turbines, sitting behind the engine you will hear all of the air being pushed out of the turbines.
