The Windsor

May 3, 2008

There’s this pub down the street from my place in South Perth called The Windsor. A few years back, that place was quite a dump.

No one really went there, it was dated, and patrons were mostly old foggies. Recently it went through a facelift, and today its bustling with activity and hot bartenders (ok maybe just one).

Jon, Naree, Chris, David, Louise and myself walked there to watch the footy over some beer and pizza. (By the way, the eagles were getting trashed man! What happened! They used to be so good! )

It was great, a simple evening filled with friends and laughter. I missed them. :( and I will miss them.

  1. *cries* we’re blooding alot of youngsters because our injury list is so long and midfield has been decimated by injury (Kerr), greed (Judd) and stupidity (Cousins).

watching them get rogered by bloody lousy carlton made me so sick… <=(

  3. Wow girl, I haven’t read your blog in a few days and so much have happened. Makes me miss Cafe Ori, I haven’t been back to Perth since I left more than 10 years ago.

Can you please do me a favor and find out if my favorite chilli mussels place at Northbridge is still there? It’s called Uncle Vincent. I miss their bucket-sized loadful of mussel-goodness.

  5. WCE lost their nerve after losing Judd and Cousins, and somehow never quite recovered because they depended on a couple who are out because of injury. Argh.
