Fish Shopping with the Grays

June 19, 2008

2 weekends ago, mumsy thought it would be a nice idea to go fish shopping together. Our ponds were looking quite sad after our biggest koi ‘Lao Da’ died. The smaller pond has its ups and downs (in terms of numbers) because the birds keep eating the little guppies up!

I made a quick video below.

Off topic: I think goldfishes are ugly, especially the ones that look like they have brains as a face.

  5. why would anyone nickname themselves ‘dead cockroach’?! *shudder*

bet your fish are happy to have a proper home, and i hope they last against those evil joy-killing fish-devouring birds…

maybe one day a pair of mating mandarin ducks will move in like the one that lives in shu yuan’s pond!

btw, hope you’re feeling all better babe =)

  6. yin: yeah they look quite gross.. and they swim like their head is too heavy for their body…which probably is the case.

the luohan are the ones with the words on their body right?i dunno, but this one is a goldfish, well that’s what the label said. I saw a tank of luohan, and i swear they injected something in their skin to make out the words. the thank were full of fish with one of the words from “Xin Nian Kuai Le”. weird

averil: i know i want those mandarin ducks! his pond is amazinnn……. didn’t know you knew shu yuan :)
