Yesterday, Today
There’s this fantastic group on flickr called My Day, Yesterday, where people upload a video summary of their day in 90s or less.
A friend brought this my attention, the fact that no matter where you are in the world, our lives really aren’t that different. Above is my first attempt of yesterday today, not exactly taken yesterday, was in fact taken in last October but I just hadn’t got round to posting it. And below was my second attempt taken last month.
I’d highly recommend you try this little project. And when you do, PLEASE link me up, I would love to watch it!

I spotted you Grace! I like the stop motion breakfast…
The de-robing was funny!! Meanwhile, your shoe cabinet has sooo much space. Can I rent some???
@Jie Jie
You could have closed your eyes and still spot her with her infectious laugh! And the stop motion breakfast is to-date my fav part of all the videos.
@Janice
That’s just one, there’s another one in my old room. Not that we have alot of shoes, but my mum likes it neat.
I loved the videos! They were so well-made! I would love to try doing this but I dont really know how am I going to film myself so everything looks like a docu. Nicee!!
@Angela
I went to the Flickr group and watched a few and I must say, I feel like doing one now. Although I reckon my day is going to look very boring comparatively!!!
The chwee kueh at 1:02 in the second clip made my eyes bulge a little.
Very interesting! U’ve got the whole time lapse thing going on!
I think my day would end in 15 secs if i shot it though…haha
i loved the part that filming ur daday’s back ss…
What u doin daday! ..hahaha
@michie
you just have to consciously remember to record things. That’s the hardest part. Second hardest is trying to shorten everything down to 90s.
@Janice
You’d be surprise how interesting and jam packed it is when it’s time to edit. DO IT!!
@yongfook
Taste just as good too. Ghim Moh Hawker Centre. But i’m sure the food is better in Japan, everything is always so immaculately cooked/uncooked and presented.
@gizmoe
fav part of the videos
i love the lapse thing
@j
Yeah he was rearranging the wines in his wine fridge. ehheheh
i m rather amused that u actually printed out a map before u went out..
LOVE it!
Let’s do it in HKHK!

chui-kuih, and kopi. I miss that.
Need to pay a visit to Tanjung Pagar soon.
@Jo-Ann

i like your vids A LOT
i feel inspired to make my own but i think i should wait till after my exams otherwise it’ll just be 90 secs of me tapping away at my keyboard and highlighting notes (and sleeping at my table)!
Done the My Day Yesterday project. I think it’s fun. Only published in FB though. Your video is good inspiration.
