Heya, didn’t manage to cycle. Maybe next time. What’s the contact of this brit lady, sounds like fun! And if it means i don’t have to pack up my MTB here, even better!
i did that MTB thingy with my old man!!!! it was the best thing i did in Bali. we cycled through the indigenous Bali Aga kampung, through padi fields & so on. really good bikes!!! i booked thru the dude at our hotel (hard rock hotel). theres another biking tour company run by an Aussie dude as well. but i’m sure either are easy to find.
yeeeaah… maybe next time Ange. i’ve been to Bali 3 times before. the MTB thing was a change of pace because i’ve done all the artsy & cultural stuff. you gotta find it. its not a mainstream touristy thing yet. okay. i shall lurk at your fotos on FB now!!!!

Don’t expect a litespeed or a motolite but a mid range Giant is more like it.. still better than poligon or the likes. best thing is the pick you from your hotel and send you back.. and feed you at different points. Can’t remember which ride i went for but the last 5km is through this moon like place .. all volcanic rock..with the occasional tree with leaves where you’re bound to see an alter at the base.
well check it out .. it’s like the presidential ride without the crowd and with a nice view of the island
