"i'm.... her... best friend". aaaaawww shucks. *blush* i think its wikkid Wayne is still your best mate. honorable title like that should never ever change just because you're no longer romantically involved. I have 3 best friends - AM, B and B.T. B.T is the only guy that I have dated that I have called my best friend because he is the only one that I can share and talk to freely and comfortably. My sis and Mom are called Family :) Next is 'close good friends'. D is my favorite close good friend - very close to calling as best friend since B passed away 5+ years ago but I still haven't been able to give him the term 'best friend'. TS, EL are my close good gfs. Next are the good friends which are a larger number - those that I contact with regularly. Followed by general friends than acquaintances. Yes I do and like you, I use the word ‘best friend’ cautiously.
