About a month back, I paid my dentist a visit for a routine clean and to decide if i needed to extract my left wisdom tooth. I was getting pulses of pain, and he said if it wasn’t extracted, the pain will only intensify with every episode.
So the verdict was… pull it out. My first ever extraction, and it wasn’t pleasant.
I’ve changed my appointment 3 times, and i’ve run out of excuses.
I’m now icing a swollen cheek with a cooler box ice block wrapped in a towel. My cheeks and lips are numb, and i’m drooling out of the side of my mouth (when i tried to eat some porridge lunch).

To those who have seen me yesterday today, thanks for being so sweet, assuring me my face didn’t look bad at all. But the fact of the matter is… I’m a spot farm at the moment.
Two nights ago, I went for dinner with Wayne, and ten minutes after we sat down, he said,
“Darling, the spots on your face is like the constellation of the stars!”
“What do you mean?”
“You’ve for Orion’s belt on your left cheek”
I took out my mirror and was shocked at the number of spots that appeared on my left cheek, soon, it was all over my face!! It’s not pimples, but some sort of insect bite! omg omg omg…
Yesterday, I just looked hideous, something is seriously wrong!! Went to see the docs this morning…got some meds for it…please please go away…I don’t want to be polka dot no more!

Dammit, I’ve got Conjunctivitis!
Last night while I was asleep, I was trying to wipe away eye dirt from my eyelashes. It took me awhile to realise how much grit I has accumulated on just one eye. Still half asleep, I was picking at it every hour. When I finally awoke…
I looked in the mirror to see yellow pus and hardened dirt all around my eye. I’ll save you from the graphic picture… so here’s a “clean” one taken five hours later.
Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva (the outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids), most commonly due to an allergic reaction or an infection (usually bacterial or viral). Bacterial conjunctivitis due to the common pyogenic (pus-producing) bacteria causes marked grittiness/irritation and a stringy, opaque, grey or yellowish mucopurulent discharge (gowl, goop, sleep, or other regional names) that may cause the lids to stick together (matting), especially after sleeping.

I got dressed for work, was half-way to the MRT station when Wayne called. He asked me why I’m even going to work… I’m going to be infecting everyone!
Last week, my colleague Andrew came into the office just a day after contracting conjunctivitis, and i think i must have got infected. It’s like flu, it’s contagious. Argh i wished you stayed home Andrewwww….. (no hard feelings).
Went to the docs this morning, and he gave me some meds….
Check this out… don’t you think these are the funkiest looking pills ever??? I wonder if they can come up with a rainbow coloured one? or in turquoise or fuchsia pink!

OOWwwwwwwwwww…..
My left wisdom is coming out, and it isn’t coming out straight. I think i might have to take it out!!! i’m scared, i’ve never had any of my teeth removed before. I didn’t even pull any out when i had braces! (which by the way is coming back to bite me in the arse (hurh hurh…bite… teeth… lame) because they are all moving now.
