Reunion tonight with the best-est client and favourite-est colleague during our time at ICON International Communications, who both have become dear friends.
Here’s a picture and caption for old times sake

Agency review went well…
Small gesture which chased away yesterday’s Moanday blues instantly!

Muchas Gracias!
BoOM! Who is your favourite colleague this MOaNDAY!
Today, I just won my office Heineken T.G.I.M. Survival Kits for writing a winning entry for this week.

Heineken are running a ‘Thank God It’s Monday’ campaign where they are handing out Monday Survival Kits every week (from 26 April to 31 May).
The kit provides you everything you need to get you through a Monday – a stress bottle, an eye-rester and a bottle of Heineken.
All I had to do was to visit their Facebook page and tell them in 25 words or less why your workplace needs cheering up. If you or your workmates get picked, they’ll send a set to your office on the next Monday afternoon. Which is what happened today.
Got a call on my mobile with a lovely girl saying Heineken has a surprise for you at the door! SWwweeeetttt!
Just had out company off-site last weekend at ClubMed Bintan. Here’s a picture of the winning team: Cocoynuts!

Ok, I’ve been naughty again, I’m up to 28 drafts of blog posts at the moment! So much for keeping to my New Years Resolution.
We celebrated Gwen’s Birthday on Friday afternoon with a lunch at Cumi Bali, and a lovely chocolate cake form secret recipe.

Happy Birthday Gwen, may you age gracefully in your thirties!
HAhahhahaha
Work can be fun, sometimes. Attended the iris Singapore conceptualised Sony Ericsson Traffic Jam 2 last Sunday at Armenian Street. Headlining the gig was American Music Award winner and Grammy nominated rock band ‘Daughtry’.

I quite like the themed-event idea, it’s meant to mirror an actual traffic jam. They had a “broken down” car and a tow truck in the middle of the road, a bus stop, petrol beer station and a car wash entrance. Cute. I love themed parties!
It’s never dull at ICON

There were a lot of screams and shrieks in the office this morning! I wish I had my camera ready to capture that moment.
Will edit the post later on. But for now…
CONGRATULATIONS TO AN ICONITE!
In usual ICON style, birthdays in the office are all about food! Together with Sarada’s birthday, we also celebrated Judith’s return from maternity leave.
Gwen’s mum made us a BUCKET full of dry laksa!! Have you ever heard of that before? Dry Laksa? It tastes exactly like Laksa (Curry mee for the Malaysians) but without the soup! F A N T A S T I C ! A no-mess lunch.

And of course, a birthday can’t go by without a Secret Recipe Hazelnut chocolate cake, which by the way, for the umpteenth time refuses to cut neatly to the bottom. So we usually end up eating mush cake… But…. BUT… its AMAZING mush cake. Definitely in my top 10 cakes tasted. It’s called the ‘Chocolate Royale’ just in case you want to try it out.
Happy Birthday Sarada, and Welcome Back Judith!
Tee hee hee hee…
it’s about time too! Whoop!

I’d look like this! Egad!
Finally got to see jie jie and myself in the 25hour ads we did awhile back, at the shop in Marina Square. Damn, i look at bit chunky

It’s days like this which really keeps me in the industry. Friday, we had lunch at our client exhibit at the Airshow, and they have been nothing but fantastic!

They were appreciative for all the work we have been doing for them leading up to D-Day, and for the smooth execution of activities all week.

After the show was over, me and J were invited up to the Ritz suite for some champagne and nibbles overlooking the Singapore skyline. I’m actually upset that the Airshow is all over? I probably won’t see them again for another year or so!

I would do it all over again…
At ICON, even the Managing Directors do the grunt work!

The ICON Airshow and Boeing team are here at the Sgp Airshow and I’m actually quite happy to be here. It’s exhilarating being around the buzz and the action. I’ve been watching the Black Knights perform since Saturday, and here’s one of the many photos we have of them.

I highly recommend buying tickets to the airshow, public days are this Saturday and Sunday.
Everytime I go to work and walk into the lift, I face this strange looking mural at the lobby. I remember quite a few kids painting these pictures just before Christmas, and I’m just a bit concerned with the figure the kid drew on the right? What instrument is he playing with?

I’m just hoping lunch will perk me up. It’s been a crap and annoying morning. And now…I’m just sleepy!?! I just want my bed… now! Beam me up scotty!
